Dr Paul Brock passed away on Good Friday 2016. At the time of his passing, he was the Director Learning and Development Research in the Office of the Director-General, NSW Department of Education.
Dr Paul Brock was dedicated to public education and amongst many roles and responsibilities; he was a former Deputy Principal and the inaugural Honorary Life Member of the NSW Secondary Principals Council. He was a strong and proud advocate of the NSWSDPA and presenter at our NSWSDPA Annual Conference. Dr Paul Brock was a brilliant mind and scholar, and an authority on the English language and literacy.
Dr Paul Brock was diagnosed with motor neurone disease 20 years ago. At no stage since his diagnosis did he allow this disease to take away his passion for life. He was inspirational and courageous at all times.
Dr Paul Brock’s unswerving support and commitment to public education will be very sadly missed.
